(Thread Continued from Captured Chaos Flier Reply #1) Word Min.: None Rating: PG 13 Participants: Erebos/Jezebel Season: Summer Start Time: 8:25 PM Erebos was stealth personified as he made his way up the stairs to his 'office'. The living space above the Gyro Hero was his workplace. It was close enough to the Human Trade market in Times Square, but affordable. He didn't want to pay too much for rent for a business that did most of it's deals online and by phone. His stealth was aided by death of course. Breathing: Non Existent. Heartbeat, none. Footsteps, not likely, not after over two thousand years of practicing how to be quiet. Scent? once again no breathing, and vampires don't sweat.
He was wearing his customary black and burgundy attire, which helped him blend with the shadows as he ascended. He did notice, half way up there was someone standing and staring at his door. He watched her for a moment, and noticed no pulse at her neck. Didn't hear a heartbeat. So, she was like him, one of the Undead. For once, he actually had time to talk to a client of his business, so he intentionally kept his stealth until he was directly behind her, and whispered "May I help you with something?" His voice was liquid crushed velvet, the tone confidant and somewhat sultry, and the volume low enough that only a vampire like them could hear, even at the two foot distance that separated his mouth and her ear.
Erebos's business was one of human trade. A specialty corperation. One who dealt exclusively in human property. They offered capture, training and delivery of any human to any vampire in the world. Of course any capture outside of New York cost extra, and any delivery outside the U.S. did as well. This job was completely perfect for Erebos. He found thrill in every single hunt. every single filled collar and order. In every single minute of training Pets of Pleasure. It was his undead passion, and nothing, except for the temporary thrill of taking blood could quench the call of the hunt for him.

She only took a few steps from the building before she was distracted by the thoughts of her younger twin. She wanted her dead, but she knew that she couldn't do it alone. Distraction over took her and she wasn't paying attention to anything around her. She had thoughts in her mind, and some of them were from her lover Gabriel who is dead now. She was so alone now, she wasn't all that sure why she was going out of her way to get a slave. Maybe it was because she was alone, or maybe other vampires in the clan had them now. She was pulled out of her thoughts when she heard a male's voice. She was caught by surprise by the male being so close without her realizing it. Her fault of course for not paying attention.
She didn't realize that he worked at the building she had left her note at. He really... just didn't seem like the type to work there. Then another thought came into her mind. Do I know him? "Help me with what?" She wasn't all that sure what he was talking about. She hadn't seen him before she had turned to leave the door. She also couldn't read minds else she would know who this male was. She was looking at him for a few minutes before she went back into her thoughts. Seems he hadn't answered yet, or she hadn't heard him. "You can kill my younger twin...." She trailed off, but for some realize after saying that, she regretted it. She really didn't know who this guy was, maybe he was a vampire on the same side as her sister sent out to kill her.
She took in a deep breath. She was just getting overly excited and needed to cool it before she did anything else stupid. This time she studied him, with no words at all. It was clear that she hated her sister.

After hearing that she had wanted him to kill her twin, he tipped his chin upward a little, toward the door behind her. " I meant... the note you left on my door. And... Unless your twin is a Human, I doubt I will be killing her any time soon... Probably." He had killed mountains of humans in his long life. Vampires, not so much. He had only had to destroy ten to twenty over the last thousand years. After the first few, they tended to respect his personal space, and the challenges came less and less frequently. What he wouldn't give for a proper vampire to challenge him once again. three hundred years since the last challenge. It was quite depressing.
" Would you like to come in.. and discuss what you would like of Captured chaos, darling?" the darling was completely unconscious. He had spent all too much time in the deep south in the last hundred years. He made a gesture with his hand toward the door and flashed his canines when he smiled briefly. He followed his gesture immediately after he made it, and unlocked the door, then opened it with one swift movement, using his right hand. There was no fumbling with keys, no scratching the plate around the keyhole. it was a sure shot when you have been unlocking things since Ancient Grecian manacles. " You have my permission to enter, darling, so we can discuss business."

At first his comment didn't make her feel any better. It didn't prove that he wasn't a friend to her sister and those other vampires that protect humans. She didn't add anything back to his comment. Hopefully if he was a friend of her sister's he meant he wouldn't be killing her either. She tried not to think about it, if he was a friend of her sister's he would have killed her by now. The answer finally came, when he spoke again. "Oh yes, that..." She replied back, new thoughts in her mind. That was really fast.... to fast... She knew he was vampire, but she could walk fast too, which means he was close when she had been writing that note, and for a vampire it was early to be up just after the sun went down.
Then another thought. Why did he call me darling? Do I look innocent or something? She looked down at her clothes then back at him. "Call me Jezebel." She didn't feel comfortable with him calling her darling. Gabriel called her that, and he was now dead. The thought of him flirting with her came into her mind. She dropped it seconds later, Not if I can help it. Once he opened the door, she went right in, and it happened to be after he gave her permission to do so. "I didn't realize I needed permission..." She let the comment slip before she walked into the building. She looked around the office building. She wasn't sure of what to think of, it was smaller then she had thought it would be.

"Your wish is my command, Jezebel. I am called Erebos." Of course it wasn't his real name, but after this long, his name didn't matter. He followed her inside, and waved a hand at the living room set where she could sit. There was three places she could choose to sit. a single lazyboy, a love seat, and a full sized couch. There was a desk in a corner where a dining table should be, with an extremely desktop computer glowing a soft blue from internal lights upon it. The lighting was soft as well, coming from a generic five bladed ceiling fan that was silently spinning in the middle of the main room. There was two doors, nearly next to each other on a single wall exactly across from the small kitchen.
" Well, this is... officially... a living space owned by the couple downstairs. Those of our kind... have issues breaking in because of the whole threshold thing. They have invited me to invite who ever I wish into the living space above so that I can extend Hospitality to my clients." He truly hated the magic of human owned houses. It had something to do with the family's sense of security while in their own home that black magic and the thinking undead had trouble crossing. Ghosts, zombies, ghouls, wraiths, and daresay demons, if there was such thing as the last, had absolutely no trouble crossing that barrier though, and it somewhat ticked him off. Why would the mindless hordes have access to the juicy snack's domiciles while he, the chosen of a goddess, not be able to. On the other hand, the Greek? Well, he had no problem getting into their homes, and was actually invited in on sight more often than not. It was just his people's way, to offer hospitality to anyone at their door. Poor sheep.
Getting back on topic, He wondered which seat she would choose. Each had their own subconscious cues of course. the chair, someone who is distant and did not want anyone close to them sat in that leather beauty. The couch? That one was for the friendly, but only friendly category. Now the white suede love seat, well it should be obvious what kind of person would choose that one. Most of his female clients... the ones that he had actually met, chose that one when they came to... discuss... capture of a new pet.

She couldn't help it, but that didn't seem like much of a name. "Erebos what?" She questioned him, he hadn't made a comment about her needing permission. She looked at the places she could sit. You should always expect these to be in the room. Now which you should know are used more, the love seat is. Or in most cases anyway. The other two, well they were equal on how many times that somebody would sit in them. After his darling comment, she knew for sure that she wasn't going to pick the love seat. She wasn't sure on if she should sit in the chair or on the couch. The couch could be used like the love seat in her eyes and the chair... lonely. She just couldn't decide that very second and it was a good thing when he made his comment.
"I see." Was her only comment. Makes sense. She dropped the thought, she still was standing there. Without thinking to much about it, she sat down in the chair. It was better to be safe then sorry and right now she was here to talk about getting a pet, nothing more nothing less. "Do you send somebody out for the hunting or is that a sport that you do?" She questioned, trying to get comfortable in the chair that she was sitting in. She was pulled out of her thoughts again, thinking of her sister and what she does. She had seen her, and her sister had been saving some humans. What became of those humans she didn't know, but she hoped they were pets for other vampires now and that Meleny gets killed by another vampire.
She was having a very hard time not getting distracted. It was a very good thing that she was sitting in the chair and not the love seat or the couch else... she might have done something she'd regret. Now thinking about Gabriel again, she needed somebody to be with her, she just couldn't stand being alone. But they had to be perfect, else it wasn't good enough. She thought that she was going insane but that must of been happening because of the blood. She kept drinking the human dry, she really needed to stop that before she truly went insane. Problem was that she didn't want to, she wanted all the humans to be slaves or dead. She also didn't mind being the vampire to do it.

After seeing that the female was going to sit in his chair, He placed himself in the middle of the couch. Then, in a smooth motion, he swung his feet up, and lay down. He wasn't much for decorum after someone chose a seat. At that point, he already knew what he was going to do, and mostly say."In all actuality, I am the only one working here at the moment. I've filled over two hundred orders in the last three years, I love what I do, and I am the best vampire I know at collaring and training pets." His voice was the same liquid satin, even laying down, with his arms crooked behind his head. Yes, a bit of an arrogant statement, but quite true, and he knew pretty much every mainstream hunter in the west hemisphere.
"Enough about Captured Chaos. Do you have a particular human in mind? Or even a particular type?" Even though his posture was one of unconcern, his tone of voice was now all business. He was interested of course, this was his passion in death. Male or female? Dark or light skinned? tall or short? Any particular ethnicity? Religion?"His questions were rapid fire, not waiting for answers until he had evicted the five most basic questions that most vampires were particular about. With the sister comment, he was wondering though if she had someone particular in mind. someone that was close to her sister perhaps? Now, wouldn't that be a challenge. Stealing another vampire's friend, lover or even acquaintance right out from under them, and then training them to please someone that vampire hated? It would be one of the most interesting orders to fill that he had ever had really. He could only hope that was the case though, instead of the sister comment just being a random thing.

Jezebel was surprised that he had laid down on the couch instead of sitting on the couch. She sat up straight in the chair looking at his face as he spoke. She was trying very hard not to get distracted. She listened to his comment, he seemed so sure of himself. She couldn't help but keep a small smile from showing on her face, seconds later it was gone again. "Relaxed?" She questioned as if trying to make him worry. "Is this common Erebos?" After her question she realized that he hadn't asked her other one about his full name.... What ever, its not important. She'd let that one slid for now... until she needed it for something. She was having a hard time not getting distracted, seeing how he was laying on the couch instead of sitting.
Barely hearing his questions, she answered them. "No human in mind. "Yes a female, that is light skinned that is tall. Doesn't matter if they are ethnicity or religion." She thought on that a bit longer before adding, "Not religion, me and them don't get along." Yes she had changed her mind. She is evil after all, not just because she is a vampire either. She was born that way, reason why Meleny and her hate each other so much. Her right hand reached up and scratched the back of her neck. The tattoo was still right there, never going to leave for any reason. She couldn't remember when she got that thing, but she had it because she was a devil's child, and now she looked like one. "I sure hope I don't have to explain my reason for not wanting a religion pet."
After she made the comment, she sat back in the chair. She was having a hard time, just sitting there not doing anything at all. So she brought her hand to her hair and started to twist the strains in her fingers.

Quite relaxed. And, yes quite often, though most have a definite idea of what they want in a pet. So far you are looking for a tall white female. Heritage and religion does not matter to you. Now the more... Vampire sensitive questions. Age, blood type and will your girl be a servant or pleasure slave? Would you require training? and if so, what types of training will you need?" It was quite a large block of speaking for him but this was about the only time he spoke a full paragraph in one sitting.
He had noticed the looks that she had been giving him but did not pay them any mind. Or at least acted as if he hadn't. He already knew that if he actually did anything about them, she would go back to a full on sub zero freeze. So instead of pouring on the charm, he acted nonchalant as if he actually didn't notice her looks, her posture and the something that kept her distracted. He thought that she just might need something from him, and it might not be a female slave. Then, his mouth betrayed his act." If you want a pet of pleasure, you can always join in on the training of her." The smile he gave the ceiling was somewhat wistful and his eyes were far away, on a distant memory of a female that had done just that, shared in the training. the play and the blood all at once.

Jezebel really wasn't expecting so many questions in finding a slave. Now she was paying attention, it was hard not to right now. She was thinking he might be planning something but she wasn't sure as of what. She took in a deep breath, "Age should be 16 or older. Blood type really doesn't matter." If I need blood, I just take it... I think I don't care much on the type anymore.... She hadn't really thought about it, but she didn't change her answer. "Servant." She gave a slight smile. "I think I can handle the trainning, since its just cleaning the house." She hoped that he realized she wasn't kidding. She let go of her hair, still looking at him. She wasn't fooled, she could do that too, and other times she could simple ignore.
Too late, she was thinking deep in thought again. She took in a deep breath. No pleasure slave, only servant. She looked back at him, paying attention once again. It was good timing too, since his next comment made her believe that she had been right all along from those looks he had given her, then acting as if he hadn't. "Thanks for the offer, maybe next time." She was just trying to not be rude. She hoped that he would get the hint that she wasn't interested. At least not right now anyway. Its not that he wasn't good looking, he was. Its just... she wasn't ready, she couldn't help but hope that Gabriel was out there somewhere, not dead and would come back to her. Maybe then she would stop getting so distracted.
She stood up from the chair. "Sorry... I have to go." Yes it was a bit of a rush, and she wasn't all that sure if that was all of the questions or not. She thought that she might go crazy if she stayed here anylonger.

"Somewhat young. Tall, white female... Servant.... No other preferences or training. While a tall order, those won't cost like a real pet would, though with those specs, it sounds like she could be one. Here is the deal. thirty thousand up front. Thirty on delivery. The second price is negotiable at your door depending on complications. A picture will be provided before delivery. You will also have to sign a waver upon delivery that if you die because of the pet, not being trained by us, Captured Chaos gets full recapture and sale rights to that particular slave." He could feel she was uncomfortable, so he stayed where he was. There were of course a couple other questions that he could have asked, but she seemed like she couldn't stand being in the same room with him for much longer. He wasn't confused at all though. It happened sometimes when you were older than Jesus. Some could stand the casual confidence that came from him, and some, well it drove them crazy. Crazy in one of two ways. The first was the rip your clothes off variety, the second was rip your skin off variety. he was guessing the first, but he had never met a vampire without baggage. it was almost a given when speaking of the younger variety.
He was a pretty good guess in age when it came to the Undead. It was more like an aura around them than their looks, though that did play a decent role in it,. Some of the older ages, their beauty was completely different than the modern beauty. This female had a modern feel to her, she couldn't possibly be more than a decade dead. He doubted she could actually pay his fees for the capture and delivery." I will start as soon as I have the money in hand, or the check clears in the bank. I am sure you would rather see yourself out than my accompanying you, correct?" He rushed his speech a little too so that she was more distracted by talking rather than anything else. He did give her a wide, needle sharp grin though afterwards when he glanced at her to see her reaction to the pricing and the waver that she would have to sign.

"Is that a bit much?" She wasn't all that surprised however. Money would be no problem at all. It really wouldn't be. Its the reason why she dresses the way she does, after all. Gabriel had money back in London. She had most of it, acting as if he is still alive. She wasn't about to pay that much for a slave though, it seemed much easier to find one herself instead. Plus it was to be put up front as well. "Sounds fair, though I don't blame on dying anytime soon." She finally said, but still wanted to get out of there. It didn't matter what age she happened to be, she knew when she felt uncomfortable that it was time to leave. Spending that much on a slave was a bit much, I really don't like the price.
Its not like she could do about it however. Figures, not starting until he gets his money. Once he finished speaking she looked back at him. "Lose the grin." She shook her head at him before pulling out a wallet in the back of her pocket with the money in it. "You got a pen?" She was going to sign that waver too, since she was here. She wasn't distracted anymore, not right this second anyway. If he wanted to do something, he would have done it already. I must be just going insane. "And in answer to your question, I can find my own way out, once we finish here."

" Not really. Not when you consider for most vampires, whether a servant or pleasure slave, they are a constant and reliable source of the ever important, iron rich, life sustaining, to die for... Blood. It is one of the only ways to have a legal, living blood source on hand when you wake. It's been quite hard to have free humans on hand since the Nychta clan decided to go public." He sighed then and continued. "talking about, i could really go for a pint right now... Of living... or not so living blood. He only added that last because she had started to get quite the attitude. It had been a while since a young vampire couldn't tell either his age or the power connected with such a number of years dead. It was then he stood, and was next to her in a silent instant.
After he was next to her he moved somewhat slower, grasping her right hand in a firm but not crushing grip." Now see and what you made me do? you made me get up. They do accept blood signatures now a days." He slid the razor sharp nail of his index finger along the pad of hers, all while disregarding the... Suggestion about his grin. He waited a few moments, so that the blood that started to escape her dribbled down his finger before releasing her hand. Then produced an official looking document, pinned to a clip board, and placed it on her knee to sign. Only then he stopped smiling, and slowly brought his bloody finger to his lips, taking a deep breath of the scent of her blood before placing the finger in his mouth. " Now, If you try to stiff me, it should be much easier to find you anywhere."

Jezebel said nothing, but did nod her head in understanding. It was a bit harder now, but not that much harder. Not if you go at the right time, or right place that is. Though she wasn't going to tell him that. She had sat back down in the chair again. Not thinking about blood being used instead of a pen to sign the waver. She grabbed her wrist trying to pull it away from him, no use though. "Hey.... all you had to do was ask." Might as well hold still... it will be over in a minute. She had been lying though, and it showed in her face. She'd never have given up her blood even if he had asked for some. I made you get up.... I wonder what else I can make you do. If she wasn't buying a slave she would have punched him, just cause she could.
Its not like it would have done anything, but maybe it might have made her feel better. She just looked over at him, waiting till he got his blood. He hand started to heal from the cut. She took the clip board and signed her name on it. Jezebel Aldridge "Now why would you think that?" She stood handing him the board back. With all the money placed on it. More will come in a check. You can count on it." She stood up from the chair once again. He wasn't going to keep her from leaving this time, not for blood or anything. She turned to leave for the door. "I suggest you start now, looking for that slave." She was daring him, she really didn't think he deserved all that money for getting her the slave she had signed for.

"I can start... soon." he softly said after the finger he had been licking was rid of every iota of her taste. "Ahh Now I know why I thought I knew who you were. Your sister... She looks like you, correct? Buying a Pet, you couldn't possibly be the one that the... person described. No, this one actually protects them. This could still be interesting after all. Maybe I will start right away." Just after he asked if her sister looked like her, his words no longer seemed directed quite at her anymore. He had started talking to himself an instant after that question. It was a bad habit of his. Dismissing people that were still in the room. That he was actually still in the middle of a conversation with, no less. He had already forgotten about her, and he had started planning the capture of her new pet, perhaps one that her sister was hiding from the Nychta clan. Perhaps not if she was not hiding any to the girl's liking though.
The girl, who was still in the room, had a twin, of course. And that twin, had hit his radar after a confrontation with a pet he had met in Times Square. It was an odd trail starting with that girl, going through her dead aunt's ghost, and to some refugee humans. Those humans were being helped by a vampire. Of course, complications. Then again, the delivery fee would be astronomical if he actually ran into the vampire's sister. He shook his head, pacing the room, completely ignoring the girl that had not left yet. His mind had been racing and it had been no more than half a minute when he looked at her again. "Oh... You are still here... I will need your number for when I have your Pet." He briskly strode back to her and snatched the check and waver with his right hand and held out his left, presumably for a business card or some other form of telephone number. "Would you like me to call If I kill your sister too? Or would you like to come along for the ride when I first meet her? That will be of course another insanely steep charge for, well, to keep you alive...." As he spoke, he thought this just might turn out to be fun.
