Overall:; Isabelle, or Belle as she prefers to be called, was born fifteen years before the Great War, her mother was an American journalist living in South Korea, and her father was a Seoul born business man who fell in love with Maria. Kyubok and Maria got married in 2000 in a small traditional ceremony right outside of Seoul. The couple was very happy together and when Maria found out she was expecting a child, they celebrated. Isabelle was named after her maternal grandmother and was loved by her parents very much. She learned how to speak Korean and English by the time she was sent to school. By the time she was fifteen, the War was starting. Isabelle was tortured at her school for being half American and a traitor by that respect. Her parents would fight more and more about the War of the Seven Continents, Kyubok believed that he should enlist to fight for his nation and Maria believe that it was wrong. She was always a pacifist. When Isabelle was sixteen, her mother’s citizenship in Korea was revoked and she was deported to New York, Isabelle never even got a chance to say goodbye. Kyubok joined the army and started to believe that everything foreign was dangerous and evil. When Belle was seventeen, he even believed that she was as well and kicked out his own daughter. Without a home, and without papers to prove she was born in Korea, she was sent to North America.

Once she got to New York, after several wasted days trying to find her mother, Isabelle got a job as a maid in the Boar’s Head Inn, the owner was sympathetic to her story and taught Isabelle how to blend in better with “natural Americans”. The old woman bought her cherry red hair dye, to cover her natural black and bought her lime green contact lenses to cover her chocolate brown eyes. Belle hated lying about who she was, but after what happened to her in Korea, she wasn’t about to pass up a chance at a home and a future. About two months after her nineteenth birthday, she was cleaning up from the auctions and a vampire walked into the bar in a drunken stupor. He demanded blood from Isabelle, despite the very strict no biting on the premises rule. She tried to kick him out, even with the help of the various bouncers and bartenders; the vampire was much stronger than she was. Isabelle was nearly drained, but with the threat of a stake to the heart, the vampire turned her instead of killing her.

When she woke up a day later, there was a black haired man who offered her a chance to join the nýchta clan. They would protect her and give her a home as long as she was loyal to them. Terrified of her own hunger for the jugular of her inn mates, she agreed. The coven leader, Alessandro, brought her to the clan’s home and gave her all of the humans she could handle. There were a few close calls at first, but she learned how to stop herself from draining. Isabelle met her maker and worked very closely with him building weapons. After a few months, feelings developed between the two. Isabelle became his apprentice and would do anything for him. One night, after several hours of dueling and welding, human anarchist broke in, attempting to single handedly bring down the nýchta, and killed her lover. Belle killed him just as quickly.

Since then, she’s dedicated herself to developing weapons to use against the humans. Her parents might be alive, they could be dead. But in her eyes, she was abandoned by both of them. She holds no ties to the human species anymore and would rather keep them in their place.
